PROJECT GOOD SAM - Showing God's Love through our Preschools' Children
Dear Chairpersons and Centre Leaders of Christian Preschools,
The Christian Preschool Alliance is inviting all Christian preschools in Singapore to join this exciting nationwide initiative to show God's love to the community through Christian Preschools and teach little children to love others. At the same time, we want to also help profile and create awareness of all Christian preschools at a national level.
WHAT IS PROJECT GOOD SAM
“Project Good Sam” is a nationwide community service initiative and campaign by the Christian Preschool Alliance in partnership with a social service agency. This is also in support of the Singapore Kindness Movement. The social service agency partnering us this year is the Presbyterian Community Services.
Anchored on the Bible story of the Good Samaritan, the aim is to nurture preschool children to love those around them, especially those who are in need, and teach them about the values of Christ through it.
"33 Then a despised Samaritan came along, & when he saw the man, he felt compassion for him. 34 Going over to him, the Samaritan soothed his wounds with olive oil & wine & bandaged them. Then he put the man on his own donkey & took him to an inn, where he took care of him" ~ Luke 10
